The Product

ConvexValue is a financial analytics software product. It consists of two parts:

• a desktop app called The ConvexValue Terminal (or MUX for short)
• a collection of financial analytics modules.

MUX

The ConvexValue Terminal is a device that let’s you create/save/share dashboards build with ConvexValue modules.

MUX is short for “multiplexer”. A “multiplexer” is a device that combines multiple input signals into one output signal. In this case, the multiple input signals are modules, and the output signal is a dashboard.

Modules

Modules are stand-alone mini-websites - like widgets.

Every module has a name. And most modules have additional configuration options.

The most important module is the home module. There you will see a list of all the available modules. From there you can click on a module to open it - just like opening an app on your smartphone.

Once inside the module, you can configure it by clicking on the ⚙️ icon to the right of the command bar. You can also configure it using commands.

If you are ever lost, enter command home on the top bar.

For example: there is one module to display volatility curves, a different one to display stock rankings, etc.
