Flow Module

Reminder: The ⚙️ Panel (to the right of the command bar) - contains reference to all module parameters and allows customization. Learn more about the cog.

Quickstart:

Enter command flow. Then play around with the ⚙️.

Manual:

The flow module is a simple but powerful module.

It is a live table of underlyings - quite similar to a watchlist on your brokerage app.

However, it is unlike any watchlist on any brokerage app because in addition to the standard parameters (price, change, volume, etc), it features over 100+ parameters - many proprietary - that are based off options activity.

These include parameters such as “FlowRatio” which measures the bullish vs bearish options flow, to volume of call/put buy/sells, to total deltas traded - and more.

The full reference to the parameters available is in the Data Parameters page under “Underlying Parameters”.

When you enter command flow, the default settings will display the parameters: value, price, and change. It is ranked in descending order by value, and displays a limit of 50 underlyings.

The most common configurations to this module are changing the columns and the ranking order. For example, the command:

flow cols=price,volm_call_buy,volm_call_sell,volm_put_buy,volm_put_sell,deltas orderby=volm_call_buy

will display all options volume broken down by calls, puts, buys, sells - and it will order it by the volume of call buys.

At the time of this writing, usually NVDA takes the top spot on this ranking.
