Global Symbol

The global symbol changes the symbol of every pane at once. Write @ where a command has its symbol, then enter a symbol in the box at the upper left of the Terminal.

Example

Two panes show AAPL, open interest on the left and volume on the right:

To look at NVDA you would have to edit both commands. Instead, replace the symbol with @:

Now enter NVDA in the global symbol box. Every pane with an @ follows:

One dashboard or the whole workspace

The link icon at the left of the box sets how far the global symbol reaches:

• Off: the dashboard you are on.
• On: every dashboard of your workspace.

Which apps take it

Every app whose command has a symbol: joy, olay, stks, grid, flowsum, flowchart, terms, skew, ip. In the flow app, a click on a symbol sets the global symbol.
