Split-Panes

A dashboard is split into panes, and each pane holds one app. Reading a market means putting pieces together; panes put them side by side.

What a new dashboard has

The dashboard from First Dashboard has three panes:

Pane 1 shows an app, flow. Panes 2 and 3 show the Home screen: like the home screen of a phone, it lists the apps, and a click opens one.

Split and close

The controls are at the top right of each pane: split horizontally, split vertically, close.

Resize

Drag the edge between two panes:

Split into as many panes as your screen allows, close the ones you do not need, and resize the rest.

Put an app in a pane

Click an app on the pane's Home screen, or type a command in the pane's command bar:
