Introduction

The ConvexValue Terminal is a desktop app that works like a web browser. A browser opens websites; the Terminal opens apps.

• An app is one self-contained view of the options market: a scanner, a chart, a table. flow ranks stocks by options activity, tas lists every option trade, terms draws the implied volatility of every expiration. The apps are also called modules.
• A command opens an app, the way a URL opens a website. You type it, or you click the app and set it up in its control panel.
• A dashboard is a window split into panes, with one app in each. This is what a browser does not do: one view rarely shows everything, and a dashboard puts the pieces next to each other.

The first word of a command is always the app. What follows configures it.
